The HR-V can fulfill the needs of drivers who are looking for space and convenience in a small package.
The all-new 2016 Honda HR-V is the best crossover SUV on the market. It was created to offer everything the competition doesn’t offer and more. With three very well equipped versions, the crossover is taking the segment by storm. It is available in LX (starting at $20,690), EX (starting at $26,790) and EX-L NAVI (starting at$29,990) versions.
Under the hood of the 2016 Honda HR-V is a 1.8-litre, 16-valve, SOHC 4-cyl engine. It offers great power for its size, with 141 hp and 127 lb-ft of torque. There are two choices of transmissions; a 6-speed manual gearbox and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Honda’s state of the art real time AWD system is available on all models when equipped with the CVT transmission, but is standard on the EX-L Navi version. Finally, the 2016 HR-V is not only powerful and reliable, it’s also very efficient, with 8.3 l/100 km when it is equipped with FWD and the 6-speed manual transmission, 7.6 l/100km when it is equipped with front-wheel drive and the CVT transmission, and 8.1 l/100km when the engine is coupled with the CVT transmission and the AWD system.
On the outside, the 2016 HR-V stands out of the crowd. With body-coloured heated power side mirrors including expanded view driver's mirror, standard 17-inch wheels, body-coloured front door handles and rear roofline spoiler, its style is very harmonious and distinguished. The EX and EX-L Navi feature a standard one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature. Mirror-integrated LED turn indicators are standard on EX and EX-L NAVI versions while LED brake lights are featured on all three versions for distinguished style when looking at the HR-V from behind.
The 2016 Honda HR-V is small in size, but its interior offers great space for passengers as well as for cargo. The cargo space is impressive, with 657 L on the AWD versions and 688 L on the FWD versions. Need more space?
The 2016 HR-V is equipped with 60/40 Split 2nd-row, thus offering more than double the cargo space when the seats are down. Heated front seats are featured in all three versions while leather shift knob, leather-trimmed seating surfaces and leather-wrapped steering wheel are all included in the EX-L Navi variant. Standard automatic climate control with air-filtration system, which is dual-zone on the EX and EX-L Navi variants, ensures maximum comfort for all occupants.
Finally, all versions of the 2016 Honda HR-V are equipped with a HandsFreeLink wireless mobile phone interface.
