2020 Honda CR-V: a more aggressive look

The CR-V not only offers more versions for 2020, but also more standard features. Indeed, the Honda CR-V Black Edition makes its appearance this year in the Honda compact SUV range while the CR-V Sport replaces EX version. Both versions are Canadian exclusive.

That said, the 2020 model year also brings the Honda CR-V a little facelift. This update results in a more elegant, yet sportier appearance. One can also notice in the front that the large openings for the fog lights give it a more aggressive look.

The 2020 Honda CR-V is still powered by the highly efficient 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that gives it a fuel economy rating of 7.4 L/100 km on the highway and 8.7 L / 100 km in the city, for models equipped with all-wheel drive.

The CR-V Black Edition features 19-inch black-painted wheels, a black-chrome grille and perforated leather seats unique to the edition. The CR-V Sport features 19-inch gray shark wheels, a roof rack, and a programmable height power tailgate. Another new element for 2020 is the addition of two new colors, Radiant Red Metallic and Sonic Gray.

Technology is at the forefront of the 2020 Honda CR-V. With a ton of features like the standard remote starter, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems, the LaneWatch blind spot system, the multi-angle reversing camera with dynamic indication of indications or even the USB ports at the back, it will be able to please the whole family.

In addition, Honda Sensing, Honda's active safety technology suite, is standard across the entire CR-V  lineup for 2020!
